Sushi rice is pressed into this wooden mold to make Kansai style sushi. After rice, nori, vegetables or your favorite seafood (smoked salmon, tuna, etc) are layered and pressed into the mold, your creation of firm and formed sushi is ready to cut. The outer wooden frame is removed, with the formed sushi still remaining in the block.
