Cinnabar ceramic vessel which allows the hot water to cool and attain a proper temperature before mixing water with tea. Commonly used for teas such as matcha, sencha, and gyokuro. Japanese writing on one side of the body of the vessel.

Holds 8 ounces. 4-3/4 inches in diameter, 2-1/2 inches tall.
